TeraFlex HD Front Axle Housings are perfect for replacing bent, broken, or damaged axles in JL Wrangler/Unlimited vehicles including Rubicon models. Can also be used as a direct bolt-on upgrade for Jeep owners looking to beef up the stock axle’s weak areas.

TeraFlex used its know-how from engineering the first Constant Radius Design, aka our Front and Rear Tera CRD60 HD Axle Housings, when developing our new line of Tera44/Tera44 Rubicon HD Front Axle Housings. As with the CRD60 that set the industry standard, the new Tera44/Rubicon raises the bar of innovation.

Tera44 Rubicon HD Front Axle Housing — Bare

Our Bare HD Front Axle Housings feature a heavy-duty housing with axle tubes, bracketry, and forged inner knuckles as well as pre-installed inner seals and upper control arm bushings.

Transfer your existing internal components (differential, ring & pinion, axle shafts) and outer components (stub shafts, knuckle assembly, ball joints, unit bearings, brakes, sensors) to the new housing!

Tera44 HD Front Axle Housing — Bare

Our Bare HD Front Axle Housings feature a heavy-duty housing with axle tubes, bracketry, and forged inner knuckles as well as pre-installed inner seals and upper control arm bushings.

Transfer your existing outer components (stub shafts, knuckle assembly, ball joints, unit bearings, brakes, sensors) to the new housing! Requires new differential, ring & pinion, inner axle shafts, and bearings and install kit.

Transfer your existing inner axle shafts* and outer components (stub shafts, (unit bearings, knuckle assembly, brakes, sensors) to the new housing!

All Tera44 HD Front Axle Housings (65.5” and 70”) require aftermarket inner axle shafts such as our 30-spline Tera44 HD Front Inner Axle Shafts.

70” Wide Tera44/Tera44 Rubicon Front Axle Housings

70” wide front axle housings must be used with 70” wide rear axle housings such as our 70" Tera CRD60 HD Rear Axle Housings (w/ Semi-Float Axle Shafts or w/ Full-Float Axle Shafts).
