Dana 30/44 High Steer System (3–6" Lift)
The complete TeraFlex JK: Dana 30/44 High Steer System w/ HD Chromoly Tie Rod Kit & HD Forged Drag Link Flip Kit addresses all the front-end steering issues associated with lifted JK Wrangler/Unlimited models. This system beefs up the steering components of the Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axle, helps maximize steering component ground clearance, and restores correct steering geometry for superior highway drivability. Highly recommended for JK models with 4” or more lift.
These High Steer Knuckles maintain correct steering geometry angles for superior highway drivability. Tie Rod ground clearance is increased by more than 1-1/8” to prevent tie rod damage and bending. Cast from heavy-duty ductile iron and reinforced in areas prone to stress and deflection.
“Flipping” the HD Forged Drag Link (50% stiffer than factory) over the Knuckle helps eliminate front-end shimmy and other alignment issues. The axle end joint is flipped 180 degrees so it can be pressed down into the top of the knuckle.
The Front Upper Track Bar Drop Bracket lowers the Front Track Bar mounting point to correct steering geometry for superior highway drivability. Multiple track bar mounting holes allow you
to fine-tune the track bar angle to reduce bump steer and other front-end issues. The Front Right Frame Brace and Front Frame Brace Bar reinforce the frame further reducing front end shimmy and excess frame movement.
Our complete Dana 30/44 HIgh Steer System combines our Dana 30/44 High Steer Knuckle Pair with our HD Chromoly Tie Rod Kit, HD Forged Drag Link Flip Kit, Front Upper Track Bar Drop Bracket & Frame Brace Kit, and Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit. Most replacement components are available separately.
Compatible with all factory and aftermarket axle shafts, ball joints, wheel hubs, and tie rods. Does not affect the operation of factory stability and traction control systems including ESP and ABS.

- More than 200% stronger than factory tie rod
- Forged tie rod housing designed specifically for JK Wrangler/Unlimited
- Tie rod end joint incorporates the same features found in TeraFlex HD Ball Joints, including 4140 Chromoly ball/stud and 1045 carbon steel housing
- Features adjustable rod end preload tension to ensure long-term durability
- The joint is pressed into the rod end housing and secured w/ a snap ring
- Tie rod end joint rotation is limited to 14 degrees of movement to minimize tie rod roll

JK: HD Forged Drag Link Flip Kit (4–6” Lift):
- Relocates drag link over the knuckle to the top of the knuckle’s steering arm (Left-Hand-Drive only)
- Axle end joint is flipped 180 degrees to be pressed down into the top of the knuckle
- Bolts directly to new High Steer Knuckle (NOT INCLUDED)
- 50% stiffer than factory drag link to help eliminate front-end shimmy and other alignment issues
- 25” O.D. fully forged drag link eliminates excess movement during hard steering maneuvers
- Utilizes oversized DOM factory-style adjusting collar and pinch clamp for simple adjustments
- Tie rod joint incorporates the same features found in TeraFlex HD Ball Joints, including 4140 Chromoly ball/stud and 1045 carbon steel housing
- Adjustable joint preload tension to ensure proper long-term durability
- Joint is pressed into rod end housing and secured w/ snap ring

JK: Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit (1-5/8” HD Tie Rod):
- Fits 1-5/8” O.D. HD Tie Rod
- 6061-T6 aluminum clamp and forged 10.9-grade stud
- Moves steering stabilizer up nearly 5” to help reduce damage to the stabilizer shaft or body
- Repositions stabilizer to reduce “tie rod roll” associated w/ stabilizer misalignment
