Jeep Jamboree USA brings to you a location approximately 17 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona in the Table Mesa Recreation Area. This recreation area is very popular with Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) users. The area features hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and off-highway vehicle travel. The Table Mesa Recreation area encompasses approximately 11,557 acres of some of Arizona’s beautiful high desert ranging in elevation from 1800 to 2600 feet. You’ll have to keep an eye on Arizona wildlife, and you’ll surely see your share of cacti. This area is full of history from Arizona’s mining days with old remnants of foundations, mine shafts, and ghost towns for the adventurous Jeep traveler.

The Table Mesa Recreation Area has also become quite popular for its established OHV travel routes varying in skill level from scenic (1–2 rating) to technical vehicle routes (6–8 rating). Six technical vehicle routes have been designated for 4×4 enthusiasts to challenge their vehicles and driving abilities. With names like Lower Terminator, Upper Terminator, Predator, and Crapshoot just to name a few. These trails offer medium to large boulders, off-camber, and steep climbs, technical rock crawling, steep, loose, and rocky ledges, as well as some excitement.

Dennis Wood takes Slimer out ahead of the official jamboree to explore the area and take some beauty shots without holding up the rest of the group. The Saguaro Cactus is found only in the Sonoran Desert in Southern Arizona, western Sonora, Mexico, and southeast California. They can live between 150–200 years and grow up to 40–60n feet tall.
