Short Shaft Kits

These kits must be used with a CV style (double Cardan) driveshaft. Fits NP231-J transfer cases only.

TJ/LJ NP231 Extreme Short Shaft Kit
.
The TJ/LJ NP231 Extreme Short Shaft Kit is what short-wheelbase Wrangler owners have been dreaming about for decades. Not only does the Extreme Short Shaft Kit improve on strength, but it also increases driveshaft length by up to 7” over a stock application. This kit is also more than 3” shorter than a standard Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit and 1.5” shorter than an ATLAS II.

Speedometer readings are transferred through a tone ring and electronic sensor. Requires a converter box to calibrate the speedometer. Earlier NP231 applications with a mechanical speedometer cable require updating to an electronic speedometer.

2Low 2wd Low-Range Shift Sector Kits

The TeraFlex 2Low 2WD Low-Range Shift Sector Kit adds a rear 2WD (two-wheel-drive) low-range option to the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models' transfer case’s standard low-range shift pattern.

This kit enhances trail turning ability by allowing tighter turns on narrow switchbacks and eliminates most front-end bind encountered while turning with 4WD (four-wheel-drive) engaged. This internal modification does not require any external upgrades.
.
The JK/JKU Rubicon 241OR 2Low 2WD Low-Range Shift Sector Kit uses all factory low-range functions such as ESP disabling and electronic sway bar disconnect as well as locker engagement and disengagement. The 4WD dash light will illuminate while in the 2Low position to indicate that the selector is in a low-range gear.

The TeraFlex JK/JKU Rzeppa High-Angle Factory Replacement CV Joint Kit replaces worn or damaged factory Rzeppa CV joint and driveshaft without resorting to an expensive aftermarket U-joint upgrade. The high-angle CV housing reduces boot failure common with 3” or more lift heights.

The included low-friction grease is engineered specifically for the high RPM needs of the JK/JKU Rzeppa CV joint and features high-viscosity surface bonding characteristics necessary to properly adhere the grease to all moving surfaces.
