Desert, mountains, red rock, trees, rivers, Jeeps and friends.  Life doesn't get much better.  This year TeraFlex brought two particularly stunning builds to show off at Moab's Easter Jeep Safari vendor show:  The JK Chief, and the CJ Golden Eagle.  Jeepers will definitely find these two Jeeps unique.

Only one Chief graced you with its presence at our booth,  but we actually had two of them roaming around Moab all week.

When the Special Edition team at Jeep decided to put out a JK Chief as a concept vehicle at Safari 2016, the aftermarket was pleased to say the least.  "The Chief" has always been a Jeep icon, a regular blast from the past.  So what happened when TeraFlex ordered two of the latest special edition JK Chiefs?  Tear them completely apart of course!  TeraFlex removed the special edition parts and built them right.  First, the factory suspensions had to go.  One Chief took TeraFlex's new full suspension system, the short flexarm Alpine CT3, and the second Chief took the long flexarm Alpine CT4 (coming to the website soon). These guys continued to receive the best of TeraFlex components and our sponsored parts, and finally switched out the hood, fender and grill for that iconic Chief look to complete the builds.  Below is a spec sheet for the Chief displayed at the TeraFlex vendor booth.

Most don't know that this Jeep's concept carries some personal value and deep significance.  Years ago, TeraFlex founder and President Mark Falkner had a CJ7 almost exactly like it when his sons were just young boys.  They worked on it together and made most of their first Jeep memories with it.  TeraFlex wanted to rebuild it for Mark as a surprise, and a surprise it definitely was!

The TeraFlex official trail run this year covered Day Canyon Point trail.  Much less popular, not as well known, in fact none of us had driven it before.  We asked Dan Mick for a recommendation and described what we envisioned for our trail this year.  We wanted something fit for almost any driver, a family friendly trail, with scenic views and still offers an enjoyable drive...  READ MORE
