After being pulled over several times for my lack of flaps, I invested in these removable flaps and welded the connector to the frame at a slight angle. These hold up well and have been in place for a complete winter season. Easy to remove and quick to put back in place. One thing I did add to keep mud out of the connector when they are removed, is a small square wood block with a hole in it for the pin. This is removed when installing the flap back again without having to clean out the connector each time.
