We get these types of questions all the time here at TeraFlex. And the simple answer is:

Well, it depends.

It depends on what you want out of your JK Wrangler/Unlimited.

Do you use your Jeep as a commuter or family car? Is it a hardcore weekend warrior? Or is it a dual-purpose rig used for daily driving as well as escaping city life and paved streets? The tire diameter you want to run also dictates what size lift you will need. Cost is also a factor.

All these questions must be taken into consideration when choosing a lift kit.

Bigger isn’t always better. But sometimes bigger is better. And that’s why we offer a variety of suspension systems from mild to wild — and several in between — so our customers can find the configuration for their rig that’s best suited to their needs.

Spacer Lift Kits

TeraFlex builds a modest 1.25” Body Spacer Lift Kit as well as 1.5” and 2” Performance Spacer Lift Kits for those wanting to run larger tires on their daily drivers that also see moderate trail use.

Coil Spring [Base] Lift Kits

Despite their added price over Performance Spacer Leveling Kits, the longer coil springs in our Coil Spring [Base] Lift Kits increase suspension travel while adding more spring rate, which prevents sagging when adding heavy aftermarket equipment such as bumpers, winches, and cargo racks.

Sport ST Suspension Systems

These all-inclusive TeraFlex Sport ST (Street & Trail) Suspensions Systems deliver true street & trail (ST) performance and capability in a dependable and maintenance-free package.

Lengthen the wheelbase and center the rear wheels on your JK Wrangler/Unlimited with one of our TeraFlex 2” Alpine Rear Stretch Kits. The additional 2” stretch improves wheelbase characteristics including climbing under extreme conditions as well as rear tire clearance.

The new relocation brackets ensure the rear coil springs (not included) remain vertical to prevent spring bowing. Although it’s been designed for aftermarket “high-line” fenders, this kit will still work with the factory fender flares.
