Hanging Tree however, IS about driving over massive rocks.
Hanging Tree Trail lies in the hills west of Ephraim, Utah — pretty much in our backyard.
Dennis Wood takes out his beloved “Slimer” with modest 38” tires, short wheelbase, and 3.5” Alpine RT Long Arm Suspension, and full-float Tera60/CRD60 axles to see how it fares against some of TeraFlex’s more hardcore toys.
Ben Falkner loaned his pride and joy, “Raw” to Brady Ralph for the day. “Raw” features a wheelbase stretch to 105”, 6.0-liter LS V-8, 70’-wide full-float Tera60/CRD60 axles, Atlas transfer case, and 40” BFG tires on Raceline Monster beadlock wheels.
Ryan Turnbaugh brought out his 2004 LJ with a Falcon/TeraFlex prototype coilover long arm suspension, 70’ wide full-float Tera60/CRD60 axles, 115’ wheelbase stretch, and 42” Maxxis Trepador tires.
